and do u have extra points for arranged employment or study in canada?

I have an application with Buffalo since july 2009, with "received by visa office" status ever since. Today I received an email stating that the application was transferred to the Canadian Consulate General in Los Angeles (to expedite the process).
I don't know if they did anything in Buffalo regarding the application. Anyone with similar experience?

Hi all,
I have been nominated by the province for PR.
I have sent the application to buffalo on Nov 2009.
I recieved the initial response from buffalo office on Mar 10 2010, that my file has been transfered to Los Angeles.
The email says "This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
In order to expedite the processing of your application, your file has been sent to:.....We transferred your application to the Los Angeles office on March 10, 2010. The Los Angeles office may contact you."

Is there anyone who knows the time frame of next set of process and what is the next step that I should anticipate from Los Angeles office? I am bit concerned..

Please friends, share your experience.

I am a new member on this forum. My details are:

Application transferred to LA on 3rd March
Status changed online to in process on 25th of March
and received medical today i.e. on 30th March

I have a situation, I am in India my home country right now and got stuck here due to new visa rules and my husband who is a primary applicant remains in USA and he is planning to come back to India on 4th of April.

Now we are not able to decide whether he should still wait in USA or it's okay to come to India and do the medical and other formalities from here.

Please guide... if anybody have any experience or knowledge on this situation.

Did anyone get request to re-submit police report? (I would think it way passed 6 months from we submitted to Buffalo)

Also, does anyone know if US Visa office other than Buffalo serve in person visa stamping?
