Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class - Commow Law Outside Canada

Hi Guys,

First i would like to thank you for such a helpfull forum which i have been reading since last year when i decided to come to Canada to live together with my common law partner. I'm in the process of finalizing all my paperwork and whant to check everything before applying so I've a doubt on the IMM1344 form.
In the form ''Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)' Question 6 - c. If you are a conjugal partner, provide the date you entered into that conjugal relationship'' should this date be when we started living together on a conjugal relationship or the date that we are actually considered common law, the date after 12 months living together?

Hope I don't confuse anyone!

Be careful: are you applying as COMMON-LAW or as CONJUGAL PARTNERS? Depending on your choice, your answers will be very different.

Thanks for the correction, i was copying and pasting that i didnt really paid attention to the correct question.
The correct question was number 8 - b and i just found the answer for it.

b.Enter the date (year, month, day) you were married or you entered into your current common-law relationship.

Note: This is the date your status officially changed from being single to common-law, not the date you started living together.

I have few quries about apply spouse visa in canada, i live in london n my wife lives in canada.now i would like to apply canadian visa as my wife spouse, how do we apply? do i need to apply in london canadian embassy or my wife need to apply for me in canada. could anyone plz help me in details about dat......thank's in advance.

You send the whole application to Mississauga, Ontario, where CIC will process the sponsor's part of the application, and then send the whole application to London. Look at the first post on the Family Class Sponsorship forum (by Leon) for an overview of the process.

Another question/doubt, hope this is the last one.

Since I'm applying to Paris I need to fill the form IMM5562-Supplementary Information-Your Travels, my question is if I have to fill my common-law travels since she's the sponsor?
