I submitted applications for 4 universities online on August 20, documents were recieved by them on August 31. Two of them had got back to me on Sep 9 and Sep 17 respectively. The other two will notify me with their decision very soon.

On the whole, you should come to know about their final decision in 4 weeks after receiving all docs i.e one month. If not, then there is a problem.

I applied through edwise international and they are saying that georgian college takes one month time to rply to an application. They are also giving me the assurance tht with the percentage I am carryin I will surely be selected. Should I wait for another 15days and then contact the college authority or shall i do it now. Please advice..
 
Others remaining two universities had got back to me yesterday with their decision. It seems like they took three weeks at max for their decision.

You should wait till one month because your appplied through an agent and they know timeline very well for applications from that university. So please tell your agent to update you on your application status.

On average it takes one month to be honest be it Australian University or Canadian university.
 
thanks lily but I m in Pakistan. I can catch a plane and apply from one of these at my earliest though :P

I think a good university takes at least three months to take admission decision.

i applied throug d kolkata branch through soma. When did u apply and to which college?? What was ur ielts score?

Do u have any idea what is an acceptance letter exactly? I called d georgian college authority today. Dey said dey released my acceptance letter on 21st september. What is it? Where do u stay and which branch did u apply from?
 
hi Avimanyu, I stay at Mumbai and applied through here only. An acceptance letter is a letter which is sent by college stating ur acceptance for the program at the college and ur schedule of tution fee. u need this letter for loan and visa application

then in dat case i thnk am selected. Which course r u taking up. I found georgian to b a better one then humber in terms of placements and internships and also d curriculum. Wat line r u moving?
 
Avimanyu, I got family living close to Humber- so am preferring it. Congrats for acceptance....started loan process???? U applying under SPP or normal??

do as i did - contact them and ask them to send the offer via some courier service. Tell them that u'll pay for a courier if it's nesessary (it'll cost ya around $50).
 
Lily, i will apply for loan once i get the acceptance letter in hand. I am going to apply for visa under spp method only as it contains higher success rate dan d normal one. What say? And do i need to hav a pcc before sitting for visa interview?

Thanks dude. But i received a mail that they already sent my acceptance letter through courier and asked me to collect from my agent. So am waiting for the letter to arrive so that i can proceed further... Anyways thanks a lot.
