Hi just wondering if anyone out there has had their permanent visa application processed through Dar Es Salaam? If so what was your timeline? Closest timeline is Nairobi, which we thought the application would go through!!

Hi Tun701,

When did you sponsor your wife, can you share your time line?

Below is my timeline:

Visa Office: Dar Es Salaam
App Recieved: June 02, 2015
AOR: None - Ecas states on July 08 they started processing my application for sponsor

Hi there!
It's actually my daughter sponsoring my son in law but here is the timeline:
Applied to Missasauga Canada on May 8th
Received AOR 1 June 8
Received SA on July 6 and said correspondence was sent that day
Finally received an email on July 10 saying that the file was being transferred to Dar es Salaam
Just logged on to ECAS and put in her husbands name and it shows that "Application Received"

Hoping that he soon gets an AOR 2 from Dar es Salaam saying that it is there but not all Vacs send them! Going to keep a watch and hoping to see an "in process"

Thanks so much for the info! I hear Nairobi is moving quite fast these days so that would be welcome news!! Friends of my daughters applied in December and landed in Canada in May!! Was processed in Nairobi! Here's hoping!

Hi all,

So after all the back and forth with CIC (because they had never informed me about AOR or SA by letter/email), I finally received the letter and it says that my application has been transferred to Dar-e-salam VO!!! I had put Nairobi VO in my application so I'm really surprised and don't know if this is good or bad. Can anyone please weigh in on this if it has also happened to them? Thanks!

Looks like the list is growing for TZ applicants :)

I think we should make spreadsheet to help others that will eventually get their application sent to Tanzania visa office .
We need someone to make us the spreadsheet asap . It would be great . Nairobi thread doesn't have it and I wondered.

I want to send report to TZ visa office. Can someone give me their address ? I couldn't find it online all I got was

Hey, Did anyone ever find the answer to this?

I received my PPR on 6th September,
Passport Couriered and confirmed received by VFS Dar es salaam on 11th September
VFS Dar with Tracking number received on 13th September
...
..
Radio Silence as at 20th September

I would appreciate any clues on their average processing times.

In case anyone finds this thread and has the same query. It took almost exactly 4 weeks.

I received my PPR on 6th September,
Sent passport on 8th September,
VFS confirmed Reciept on 11th September.
My CIC application approved notification received on 3rd October.
VFS notified that the passport was on its way I believe on the 4th
COPR and passport received back on 6th October.

... All the best to Anyone still going through this process.

Yup
It almost takes 4 weeks, submitted my passports on 26th October and got them back on 19th November
