Hi, I got my upfront medical examination done today and the medical assistant said that she will let me know within 2 weeks if I have to repeat the lab tests or not. So should I wait for 2 weeks and then submit my EE application, or do it right away? My deadline is 26 may though.

I was told the same by the clinic, they said they will call me within 2 weeks only if something's wrong with the results (haven't heard of them).you can submit your application with the information sheet but makes sense to wait for 2 weeks, just in case.

if I were you, I will wait and submit after confirmation.

Even if something's wrong with the tests and I would probably go for further testing, isn't it the same UMI number though?

I didn't wait. There are lots of things that could, theoretically, be wrong with the results, but there are only a few that make you inadmissible because they are a potential health threat to Canada or because they would be too costly a burden on the health system. You would probably know if you had one of those things.

If you want to know a bit more about cases that could get your medical refused, go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/admiss/index.asp

Even if they find something wrong in your exams, CIC would give you 60 days from the refusal date to work with a doctor and provide an explanation and/or have your medical reassessed (depending on the case).

I would go ahead and submit the application.
