Application status still showing processing

Hi,

I applied from Mumbai VFS on paper for Canadian Study permit. Application was submitted on 14 May 2019. Received biometrics confirmation on 22 May 2019. Waiting for my background check process as specified when tracked online. Can someone let me know how many days does IRCC Bangalore takes to get my visa result after biometrics approval?

then you just have to wait , for a PPR or a refusal letter , depend on how the application is prepared. usually you will hear from them within the next 4 weeks..

4 weeks ?? But on 22nd I received biometrics, medical confirmation still 4 weeks from now..?Really..?

visa office won't start to process your application before you do your biometric and after you have done that 4 weeks is the normal time frame . I have seen less or more, but generally speaking it is the speed they are working with. did you apply online or on paper? it will take even longer if you applied on paper .

with the upfront medical you won't get a separate medical confirmation , it will show medical passed on GCkey automatically.
