Application status does not match information I have received

Hi All
AOR July 9th.
I am little confused. The status of my online application has not been updated since I passed my medicals back in August. But I received a letter to attend a landing interview even though my account says "Interview You do not need an interview". We will send you a message if this changes My status says the following:

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents Not applicable.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final
decision has been made

What stage am I in? It does not look like my status has been updated for a while even though I received a letter to attend an interview. Anyone else get this?

Your account doesn't always reflect your status - I have seen others in these forums who have had this exact issue. I'm guessing the interview is a good sign, it should mean you are one step closer to PR, but I'm not an expert on that. Good luck!

You have been invited for an interview. This is usually your landing interview. Go with all your documents and you will get the confirmation of permanent residence and complete your landing. This is a good sign so don’t worry.

Thank your for your comments. They asked me to bring my passport, 2 photos and proof I paid the $490. I will post an update after the interview.
