Yes I'm from Pak. I'm 26 went to UK on study visa - oxford but had to stop mid way in studies and come home because mom was unwell. I didn't overstay my visa limit. Infact I came back to Pak during the one year i was in UK. This was the travel history.

I showed more than 60 lakh bank statements (combined with my father - no loans). Showed ownership of house under fathers name, showed income for fathers business. Even stated in application that will be joining the family business after I return to Pak.

I got rejection letter yesterday.

FIled application June 24 2012
Business General 2 year program at Sheridan College for Sept 2012 intake. Had my intake deferred to Jan 2013 because of the lenght of time the CHC was taking.

Reason for rejection:
You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered the following:
-your travel history
-limited employment prospects in your country of residence
-your personal assets and financial status

I am reapplying and need help on developing a better case.... any reccommendations? My IELTs is 6.0 and cannot apply to uni.

i also got rejection with the same reasons but they did not mention about my travel history they said purpose of stay.

but thing is which i have seen is that nobody should apply for college, go for the university.
and ye saray problems sirf consultants ki waja se ho rhe hain.
if you have time go for ielts again and go for university dont waste your time for applying again in college.
they took 4 months and in the end you get rejection.
so go for university.

I need your expert opinions on an issue. Though I have been accepted for winter 2013, I won't be applying for visa either for winter or summer 2013 mainly because I want to buy sometime to make my case stronger especially by strengthening my bank statement.

What do you think should I take some time and apply once only or give it more than one shot? Does getting rejection once weaken your case and jeopardizes your chances of getting visa for lifetime no matter how strong your profile is? Please advise.

Make it everything right from the first go. Once you are refused first time, it is very hard to convince visa officer second time as well. Of course, take your time and prepare things thoroughly.

Try to work on rejection reasons and when u feel u are good then apply,it does not matter that u are applying again,many people got visa third time....

Do i need to submit my previous "Rejection Letter" with the new application? And can i write the UCI number in the study permit form. Because i got it with the rejection letter

You can't complete your previous studies that's why they rejected you, provide some real proof and explanation of that and hope for the best............

why a diploma not a degree? your current qualification is a high school correct me if im wrong. Visa officer would take it in a wrong way. That's just common sense there. Also, college applicants are not looked upon favorably by visa officers for some unknown reasons. Most students who are taking an admission in colleges are those who want to settle there as fast as they can. That's a big tip off to a Visa officer.
