Hi Everybody,

I came to this thread from a different thread. I just sponcered my wife from Pakistan, From september 2010 to March 2012. took her 19 months.

Now i want my brother to come to canada as a student on study permit.

Please help me out here guys i have printed out the application froms cic.gc.ca.

Please let me know any necessary things i must need to know. I am doing this all by myself like i sponcered my wife.

But with your help i can avoid any cofusions and unnesessary hassle.

necessary things are you should show funds, home ties like property,job,blood relations for your brother here in Pakistan. because VO's biggest concern is that one should show that he/she will come back to their home country.
rest depends on the profile of ur brother if u explain it then we can help u further

Family is financially settled and few property owners. They can show funds, blood relations how do they want us to show blood relation? Brother and sister. We can hava letter typed about returning back to pakistan after getting the proper studies done.

His family can show funds and property. His older brother owns a showroom in pakistan he can show that too that his brother will come back to help him cause he is a business owner in pakistan.
He is 18 or 19 years old, looking to get into business courses. I currently own a business in canada his sister is my wife and she helps me out in business.

What else? Please help me out again.

To proof blood relations u need two things first computerized date of birth slip 2nd family tree from NADARA both of these have mother name .
If you or ur wife is sponsoring him or any other person (other than his parents ) he need affidaft from that person covering (a) he / she will sponsor ,(b)why he / she will sponsor ,(c) have enough funds to sponsor him along with his / her own family
Rest his course will also made impact at his file ,course must be according to his previous back ground studies

blood relations can be shown by family registration form from NADRA. every thing seems to be fine. go ahead, show his ties to Pakistan as u mentioned above. u will be fine

Try that his parents should sponsor him from Pakistan , not you or your wife from Canada, because firstly parents are considered the best type of sponsor secondly if you sponsor him it will weaken his home ties.
Either you contact the college or ask him to contact college and apply, but in my opinion ask him to go for university it will boost up his visa chances ........

His proposed course should be matching with his previous studies or Experience .......................

· Original Proof of Payment of Canadian Fee Receipt (125$)

· Confirmation Page of Online Visa Application with bar code

· Original Interview Appointment Letter (if required)

· Evidence of Financial Sources (Required Bank Statement of previous four months + Property documents)

· Affidavit of Support from Sponsor (Copy of CNIC + Passport ID Page of Sponsor must be attached with it)

· All Original Educational Documents (Transcripts and Certificates)

· Original IELTS Certificate and GRE Scores

· A Personal Statement for Study Permit in Canada (minimum 500 words)

· Copy of CNIC of the student

· Work Experience Letter/s (if applicable)

· Police Certificate

· Proof of Tuition fee payment

· Visa Application forms
