Yaar expected tu hai , and may be they issue right after EID . but everything( Ticket, Shopping etc) is pending and 3rd of September is Orientation day .

No problem if not t0 reach before orientation on 3rd,, All colleges have the same dead ine for registration on LOA,, that is 11th September,, We have to reach before 11th Sept..


Just book your tickets as I have done for 9th September..
We do not need to pay any thing for booking just,, but do not reserve the Ticket,, at the end if you need just finalize and reserve your ticket that is already booked..

If you get Visa before 9th Then Cancel ticket of 9th and Reserve earlier ticket..

Do Important shoping as I'm doing, took new laptop,, but have made a list for other shoping content,, we can just 3 hours clear all shoping

thanx Inam bhai...main ny TNT walo ko call ki thi wo bol rahe hai k agar ap aj service charges pay kar dety ho tu 1 week main ap ko mil jye ga... lakeen mera consultant bol raha hai k ap tension na lo ap ko 1 week main updated loa mil jaye ga...

Inam bhai loa ki extension September intake ki karwa lo ya January ki? agar main September ki karwata hon tu medical k bad Canadian embassy 1.5 months ly rahe hai... tu ye log phir updated loa ka bole gy... coz September tu guzar jaye ga....

Bilal, objectively thinking, I would advise you to delay your session to January intake. It would not be possible for CHC-I to give you visa before September.

Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum but have been following what,s been going on as I am in the same boat. I applied for the permit on 20th June, got Medical on 18th July, sent the passports back on 23rd July and still waiting. Last year I know that students were getting the permit within a week or so after medical.
I am a PhD. student accepted at University of Victoria BC. I have already paid security deposit for housing and would have to pay the rent on sep 1st if I want to retain it. Also classes r starting from 5th. The situation is getting very frustrating.
Is there anyone else going to UVic this fall?

I could not pay some fees to university via debit card.....it was necessary to use a credit card

Yes, I encountered this problem on those universities' websites where CVV was not requried i.e. uAlberta. But I had no problem in paying via debit card for my TOEFL and uOttawa.

In my opinion go for sep. if you join a week or so late it doesnot matter alot. if not then you still have chance for jan intake so target September

I've clearly read on Medical forms that..
Canadian Medical Officer tells about the reports to the Immigration Officer..
in next paragraph written :
for some conditions your medical MAY be forwarded to CHC New Dehli.. and a detail is also given I dont remember exact words but I know..
it means not compulsory.. only some conditions apply if any problem with medical found then to Dehli..
As clearly quoted on Medical Form..

1. Could you quote exact words? because my medical letter says: "Note to Doctors: Return all results directly to: Health Management Branch, Canadian High Commission, ....New Delhi-110021, India.
2. Medical Officer sits in New Delhi.
