Haroon Khan
Case submitted: 4th July
Medical request: 16th July
Medical examination: 25th July (Passport returned on the 26th)
I was contacted by CHC on 3rd August by email. This is what the wrote:
"Dear Sir;
This refers to your application for a Study Permit Visa. In order to continue the processing of your application, please provide the following information:
- Have you ever resided outside Pakistan ? Please provide dates and locations.
The above information is required within 05 days of this letter. At that time, your application will be reviewed and concluded on the basis of the information on file."
I replied immediately by email, and later by fax and post, the same day. This was Friday, and surprisingly, CHC even sent me an acknowledgement on Monday (the next working day). 5 days are long gone, it's almost 2 weeks now!
Hi Tali Welcome On Board. It will be much easier if u can share ur profile. Excel sheet contains the profile of students (of this forum only) who have applied for Student permit for this fall. This Sheet is limited to this forum only and has nothing to do with CHC whatsoever.Tali said:Hey people!
Okay i'm new to this forum (or any other sort of forums for that matter) so can anyone me out please?
I applied for my study permit to the Canadian High Commission through TCS Visatronix on the 15th of May, 2012. It has been almost 3 months since then but i still haven't even received a medical call as yet. My classes are starting from the first week of September 2012; so other than waiting (like i have been all these months), any more suggestions? I've gone through a few pages of this topic and most of you are facing the same problem, so what really is the cause of all this? Why are they delaying this so much? Also, what are the chances of being granted a study permit under these circumstances?
Also, what is this excel sheet that everyone is talking about? Does it include profiles of all the applicants who are also waiting for their student visas?
Thanks and congratssalam123 said:I just received my passport right now, alhumdulillah!!!
I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum. I have been following it and you guys have been a great help. Thank you Momi and Inam Bhai for replying to my other topic as well, it was a huge help. I pray that everyone who is waiting for their visa will get it soon, inshAllah.
You may forward your details according to the spreadsheet so it will be convenient to upload.Tali said:Okay perfect!

3) Date you applied to CHC
CHC usually takes time to process the college student case. I think you should still keep your finger crossed.Tali said:Okay perfect!
