momi bhai cn u plz tell me how much more tym will CHC take.coz my classes are going to start in september..i hav to book ticket,do shopping etc etc..n i cn do dat once i got confirmation from embassy..

We can't tell u exact time, but it should be between 25 to 30 days...........

applied on 4th july.. CHC ISlamabad
medical call 16 july
passport returned:19 july 2012

visa:still waiting

please let me know how mch more tym will CHC ISLamabad take to reply me after medical call...

Book your ticket as soon as possible. You can keep your booking for upto 10 days without paying.

as u advised before i have contacted many travel agents in peshawar but none of them have confirmed availble slots in end of august and i hav to reach there by end of august for classes..
actually i am wrking in remote area on rig..i cant visit peshawar dat much frequently..if you cn forwd me number of such renowned agents in peshawar..and cn they hold tickt for me as well???as u said i cn hold it for ten days.??

I applied on 5th July and got my medical call on 17th July (one day after you).....but i have booked my tickets as new and returning students will be heading back to Canada. Even the travel agents say that till 4th September all flights to Canada are very busy. It is better to book your ticket, IA visa ajaye ga. It usually takes one month after medical to get the visa stamped

Check your inbox, I have contacted some travel agents on phone and they all gave me tickets in the end of August but yeah it was a month ago. Availability will be a problem now.

Even you will know the rates (peshawar to ottawa) they offered me at that time Best of Luck buddy.

I returned my passport today. Gerry's asked me to also submit receipt given by IOM office. I wasnt expecting it, so i didnt have any photocopy of it. I submited original one. Would i need the photocopy of the receipt in future?

No you won't need it, but you could have photocopied it there.
