After a lot of discussion with money changers and my bank i have come to following conclusion
1.,wire transfer from money changer is expensive as they charge atleast 3000 pkr for wire transfer but pkr to \cad conversion rate is very high, they may charge you almost 2 rs.extra for a CAD atleast
2.Open a bank account in USD as CAD account is not available in PAK BANKS,they charge USD 25 for one wire transaction and a negligible USD to CAD conversion rate,so u may open a USD account by purchasing it from open market on competitive rates,u have to keep these USD in your account for atleast 15 days otherwise bank will charge additional 35 usd on wire transfer,,,,so the best way is to open a usd account for your one family member who can send you this money as n when required by u there in canada

+ one can also submit their tuition fees in USD, i sent my fees in USD and not CAD.....check with your respective universities

A friend need information...refused by chc islamabad...college applicant stouffville college acca...want to appeal for visa ...i dnt think its its a wise step...brothers wat do u think reply me thanks

I transferred $500 towards my university using my mothers USD acount at FAYSAL BANK.
Simple method If you have USD ACCOUNT
IF you are having enough funds in your account just go to your bank with a blank cheque.
Ask at customer service that u need to have telegraphic transfer(t/t)(They cant refuse u if u r having foreign currency account).
They will help u to fill out the form of T/t and your cheque(you will have to make payment towards bank or there department,on my cheque they wrote something like OP/TT).
sign the form and u r done with it, If your bank is main branch and doing transfer directly they can provide u acknowledgement swift message receipt on spot or other wise ask them to E-mail it your ID as soon as possible in this case they will be requesting there head office to make transfer.
When i made the payment ,I went there nxt day and requested swift message copy(prefer soft copy so that u can even forward it to your university to trace out payment).
total cost : ur Bank will charge u $9 to 15$ dollars and receiving bank may also charge u(usually its free).
hidden cost: corresponding bank will charge upto $35,this will nor be verified by ur bank or receiving bank but its fact, some countries such as UK have restricted there banks to charge this amount but be ready to pay it for CA/US.
I think it is the best method if u have USD account .
One more thing,I made payment in USD and university posted equivilant to my student account.
Now one more thing:
if u r having account in international banks such as standard chattered u can wire u r money using PKR account and they will transfer the money in the currency of your choice.

1. He can't appeal against the decision.
2. He can requrest review via court for which he need to hire a lawyer in Canada, which is expensive.

Quote: "Can a potential host in Canada or an applicant outside Canada appeal the decision on a temporary resident visa application?

Under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, there is no formal right of appeal on temporary resident visa decisions. Rather, the applicant may reapply and, whenever possible, a different visa officer will examine the application.
An applicant may also seek leave through the Federal Court of Canada to request a judicial review of any decision made by a visa officer, if he or she believes that the process was not legally or procedurally fair. A lawyer in Canada would have to act on behalf of the applicant."

Thanks Sheryar for sharing your experience, it is very helpful.

Two things Sheryar: A TT or wire transfer is basically called a remittance. The Charges to be borne for the remittance are 3 ways: a) all to be deducted from the sender, b) remitting charges to be deducted from sender, receiving charges to be deducted by the one receivng, c) both charges to be deducted from receiver.

If you select option a), its clean, transparent and no hidden charges.

2nd thing: Wiring money from PKR to the currency of your choice is available, but I as said in my previous post, u get hit an exchange rate of the day it reaches the other country plus open market (money changers) will always offer better rates than Inter-bank (Bank transfers such as Wire transfers or TT).

Inam please correct me if i am wrong. I think there is a procedure under privacy act HERE IN CANADA by which you can get your CAIPS file to see what exactly the reason of refusal is. then if your situation is substantially different then that you can reapply but yes that's true to hire a lawyer gonna be freakin expensive man and the out come will be zero.

Does anyone know how much approx is the time limit for buying an air ticket after booking it? (Specifically for Qatar Air if anyone knows)

Actually my travel agent gave me only 5 days!
