The latest details added to CIC website is for Supervisa which is launched recently. Among these details it is mentioned that in order to get visa the following factors are considered:

the person's ties to the home country;
the purpose of the visit;
the person's family and financial situation;
the overall economic and political stability of the home country;

Now this last point should really answer all of our questions as why are we getting this much delays. Pakistan is neither stable financially nor politically. CHC Islamabad and the VOs are well aware of this fact and they know that most of students are going Canada for the sake of getting out of Pakistan and for them Studies is a way of achieving this goal. A recent news of making the student visa and process more tougher is also not healthy for us. CIC is implementing new constraints so it should now be evident that Pakistani students will be facing a lot of difficulties in the time to come.
I hope things will get better but seemingly the window of opportunity is closing upon us.

Haan, especially the educated class, but sooner rather than later things would start getting better in Pakistan for everyone. InshAllah

I guess your brother got medical?

Well momi was asked for medical and further medicals i guess the MO was suspicious of something but all his medicals were clear. The tests were mostly related to TB ( i guess)

hmmm brother I can imagine how hard these days are for you guys. when my medical was not coming I also wrote an abuse on a thread then shook my head and backspace my wordings before posting. I pray for you and all other college guys and university guys and for people like us waiting their visas after medicals may get their desired results form CHC. asap. Ameen.

yup inam bro you are right, as I earlier told here in this forum Pakistani reputation at international level is not very healthy.
