I disagree inam many senior got visa using scanned LOA and after all CHC has to confirm admission form university so either its scanned or original it wont matter logically. in my opinion this guy should not wait and apply within some days if he get original well and good if he does not he should go with scanned copy.

May be, but I am pointing to the point mentioned in Checklist as well as on instruction guide. I also asked him in my previous reply to wait for a week more and if still the original LOA doesn't arrive then he should apply on Scanned copy.

No, it is strictly forbidden to approach CHC Islamabad without any appointment. You won't be allowed to enter at all. You should Fax them on their number.

Thanks. I also want to know one more thing. In the application for Study permit form, IMMI 1294, in employment field, what am I supposed to right after-all, I have never been employed. I am a student going for Undergrad studies. I think I am not supposed to leave it blank as it says "if retired, not working, or studying please indicate." And also in the institute address field, University of Alberta does not have any clear address. It is just University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. Do I just right this?

I am not sure if they entertain appointments, They fix appointment with specific person for Interviews only.

Quote: "In order to best use our resources, we do not accept enquiries in person or by phone. If your enquiry is urgent due to factors outside of your control, send an e-mail clearly indicating “URGENT:” followed by the reason for the urgency."

1. You can't leave the space for pass 10 years blank.
a. Say you were not working for 5 years then in the first row write dates "from" to" and enter in details "not working"
b. Before those 5 years you were a students at bachelors, write dates and in details write "student" and so on.

2. You should mention the address of admission office.

P.S. If you haven't read this guide, have a look it will be helpful : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5269ETOC.asp

I guess you are that UBC guy right?
If you have your LOA and your documents ready then you should review it from someone for mistakes. Your next stop should be Fedex office. I don't know why I prefer fedex over visatronix :p

MAN FALL2012, I told you a number of time. FALL 2012. Don't waste your time. What degree are you going to pursue? Sorry I forgot your details :p

You can apply with scanned copy (later update the original) but it will be better to go with the original one, one can schedule a pickup of LOA using courier service.
