You should definetily request your LOA......because as far as i know, the immigration officer asks for it at your port of entry, so its essential!

You should have original LOA on port of entry..

Actually, the LOA which is mailed at home has 2 copies, one for the visa application which the embassy doesn't return and the second copy is for us to keep. Our copy is the one that the immigration will want to see.

In case you have applied to a university in quebec, you will receive 3 copies

Requirement is to have original LOA ... but u can color print one ........ as ur right they dont see the difference ........ but dont lie to them that its original ...... if they ask tell them i did not get original back so i have copy for u ...... worst they would do is contact University ..... Usually they dont do that if u handle the situation lil good ........ Canadian border agency is very good people ......... believe me they jus check important things .......... very helpful ........ but the only things is that u might have to wait for a bit ..... in line ..........

I am waiting to hear a story from any of u wen u cross border and go to US ........ as u know US visa is very easy to get for students from here ......... usually students go there for visit ........ but u would notice difference there ............ they will keep u waiting for a hour without any reason .........but if u dont do anything wrong they would not stop u ............. good thing is u see alot of darama happening there .... logon ke paseene nikal jate hain .... they ask sudden questions like ...... wot is ur Dads DOB .... and if u know ur grand fathers ...........

my bro also applied in march 2012 in college but didn't get from CHC-I
the fee due on aug 10
if he moves the admission to winter session, he has to re-apply or same application is ok.

he does not have to re- apply .......... jus deal with ur college to forward admission to winter .......... and that it ..........
or u can tell college that u did not get visa yet ............ so fee due date should be extended for u ............ if they dont do that ......... ask them to transfer ur admission to next semester ......... and u can write an email to embassy to let them know .......... but let the embassy know by the end of august .....

u can do both ....... does not matter ........ i hav't seen any one getting rejected due to this .......

Actually I want to know that how to withdraw the Case from CHC??
I have some reasons,,
As I've got admission in Niagara College Canada for Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Lasers 1 year, and submitted my Study Permit on 23rd April 2012, now waiting for Medical..
As IO have also paid my 1 year complete fee of the course that is 13081$, and showed bank statement of last 9 months more that 37000$ (3500000 rupees),
But on the other hand, my younger bro is doing MBBS in Malaysia, he is in 2nd year, after paying the fee of 1st year he got scholarship to study without any fee in Malaysia due to high marks in 1st year, means 650000 rupees he do not pay now, 2ndly, in 3rd semester (2nd year) he again got high score and 1 more scholarship he has got, that is 50000 rupees per month,,
Means, Malaysians are giving so many benefits to study,,
Finally, I've also got admission in 2 Govt. universities in MEng Electrical Engineering, high reputed universities and accreted,
But last date to pay the fee is 14th September in Malaysia.. And very cheap just 400000 rupees per year, total course of 2 years..
So what you guys suggest me to do?
Should I withdraw my course or I should wait!!
