In fact any one ...... the best suggestion for any one at this time in Canada is ..... if you want to get a good job ..... earn good ..... get immigration and citizenship done ( as it depends on if u got job or not ) is to transfer your studies to any University in Alberta or Saskatchwan ........ I would prefer Alberta as it has tons more jobs ................ as companies hire from local Universities ......... so wen u would graduate u can get into big companies like ....... Shell , haliburton , suncor ......... etc etc ..........

If you graduate from some University out side of Alberta ....... the problem is that u would have low chances of getting Alberta jobs ......... as they book a career fair at University and u canot participate in that ............... and degree is also demand oriented ........... Alberta universities focus more on oil as there is more oil here ..................... Saskatchewan on agriculture ....... Manitoba on transportation .............. Ontario on Manufacturing ........ Quebec on Manufacturing ......... BC on service sector .........

O Yes. I was discussing this option of transferring courses to u of C. You are damn right Alberta is booming and the job market is good. I talked to a friend and he said that he is having great time while doing part time job with his job.

40000$ per year is peanuts! After taxes it would be around 30000$. So I really hope this is an odd case..

40 grand ? i think its pretty decent here... yeah you are right Taxes are high but so are the facilities ma Friend... I got graduated last year and i think i earn way better than 40 G.. so its just a matter of finding the right job... You have to under go professional exams to get good pay.....

Companies are ready to pay you good. They provide you big trucks... they pay your insurance , medical every thing... All you have to do is to make your worth...

I would like to mention here that guys come out here from India and Pak and then they start finding short cuts, Boys mind it there is no short cut here... you u need to believe in your self... and trust me u will get what you are looking for... That's ma experience...
