Well every university is better than college. However, if the university ranking is high then visa issuance will be easy.

It is better if they are the same but it is NOT MUST. Negative is optional if your DMP agrees to it that you don't require negative then its fine.

My DMP was not agreeing to do medical without Negative of the photo so I had to capture new photos. It does not matter as nothing of the sort is mentioned that it must be the same. It says the photos should be taken within 6 months .

So first confirm and then do what they require.

Thanks a lot brother, I have tried the phone numbers of the both DMP at Karachi but call was not recieved any one due to holiday i think, I'll call them on Monday morning insha'allah.

One thing I want to know, if One DMP gives me date for example 10th july and asks my confirmation ke ap is date pe aayenge ya nahe to me usko confirm kese karon q k mujhe dosry DMP se bhi pochhna hoga k shayad wahan medical jaldi ho jaye, so what should i do in this case?

I got acceptance from Concordia University in the MEng Mechanical Engineering program for fall 2012 session. Unfortunately i was not able to apply for a CAQ/Study permit well in time. My classes start on the 4th of September and i have applied for CAQ on 19th of June. It takes 20 days max to get ur CAQ acceptance. It means that i will only be able to apply for a study permit in around mid july! 11 weeks is the processing time for the study permit, so ill be getting my visa (if a positive decision) by mid October! Advise me;

1- Is it advisable to defer my admission to the January 2013 session and then apply for the study permit accordingly
2- Or apply the study permit for the fall 2012 and keep my fingers crossed, if the visa doesnt come in time only then apply for a deferral.

Out of the above 2 options, which has more chances of a positive decision?

Please also note that 20 days is the processing time, it does not include postal delivery time which is in best circumstances is 14 days; they would send it through Canada post rather than using any courier service like DHL or Fedex.
"The Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles (MICC) has promised to process applications for a Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) for studies within 20 business days, not including postal delivery time." thats a great point especially the latter part. "if the university ranking is high then visa issuance will be easy", I had a misconception about it. I thought every public funded university provides equal strength to ur visa application but I assure u getting admission in UoT UoA, waterloo or mcgill is far better then others middle standard universities of canada. clear me if I am still wrong.

Ok plz brother inam look i applied on 30th may on stouffville college. I have filled each and every requirement of embassy.I have 6.5 bands in ielts and have related working experience too.I think my case is strong enough but only problem is college.
SO plz think in silence mode for a while and what ever comes in ur heart tell me what is ur feeling about when im gonna get my medical. plz im waiting just have a feeling be honest im serious

Confirm with the first one and then call the 2nd one, if the 2nd one is giving you early date confirm with him and call the first one and cancel the first confirmation.

1. That feeling which I was talking about is general not specifically for me. I am sure Inshallah a lot of guys will get medical call this week.

2. Regarding your case: If I were you, I would have started applying to universities at this very time. As an application cost 100 CAD so I would have applied to 2 universities. The day when I would have got admission confirmation I would have asked CHC for withdrawal.

As you have strong profile so you will get admission in university easily. As you can see college waiting line is too long it would take a lot of time so it is better to start applying.

Not yet, the average processing time in Cairo office is 5 weeks, It has been 2 weeks now since they have received my file, so I guess I still have a long journey of patience to go
