Congrats countrygal & everyone who mailed out your applications today. I know it's a great & scary feeling. Mostly a relief to not have to organize or worry about doing it.

Best Wishes friends!!
Smiles

Thank you everyone!!! And also good luck to everyone else!!

Cheers to everyone for helping me out on the forum!

Now the waiting begins...hoping I can have hubby in Canada by the end of the year!

In about year or two you will hear from them.....brace yourselves for a loooong wait. But its worth it in the end...and who knows...maybe CIC improves their processing times in the future!

For some it is less than a year.

Everyone I have talked to it takes about 6 months to 11 months... My case is very simple and no complicating factors..... Pretty sure it won't be two years... Maybe one but not 2. Who knows, nothing is in our hands.

If my wife with a 30 month processing time can get her PR in 6 months, yours won't be too long either. Smart decision to apply outland rather than inland.

I'm guessing Violet was thinking about inland sponsorship. If you are really lucky it might take less than 4 months! There's quite a few people who got through that quick last year, even through Ottawa, our case was one of em.
