Application sent - what next

My application for FSW1 with job offer was sent last Thursday 20th December 2012
Just wondering when I am likely to hear that my application has been received
Are they closed over Xmas and new year?
What kind of time frame until I know that at least they have received my application

there is no tracking system available by Nova Scotia that your application has been received. only your courier company let you know through tracking number that application has been reached there.

after two month almost ....it may be less or more you will receive initial acceptance of your application from office and then your application will be transferred to your concerned Visa Office......Please share your country and visa office..............????????
