Application sent back

Hello,

My application was sent back as they were not happy with one of the documents. I got what they wanted instead, but I'm just wondering whether I should include the letter with the explanation of why it was sent back the first time or not?

No, I don't believe you should include the letter. If your application is returned to you, there is no record of it in their system. When you mail it back in, it will be like you are applying for the very first time. So you should just include what they need and don't include their original letter to you - that just lets them know that you made a mistake, which otherwise, they won't know.

This person is wrong. Why would you not include a letter of explanation? Makes no sense to not do so. What possible harm could it do? Of course they have a record of your application being sent back.

Yes. Absolutely no harm and everything to gain from that. Just as you would in any other business transaction.
