Hi Yasser,

May I pls know if you're under CIC Stage or still at Saskatchewan? From what I read from other forum, some cases are being justified by the province nominated you if that's CIC holding you. I'm really hoping that you'll figure this out and be back on the loop of success soon.
Hi TrishIa/Stay
Thank you for your information, actually I have been in CIC pool since several months and I apply under SINP-EE once it is opened, I applied in the last cap and my application was returned as explained above.
Actually I am really confused since I received contradicted information from you and One_Topsy, please help me to know the right way.
Note: what is LOA ?

Thanks

The reason i responded the way i did is because you applied to Saskatchewan.
Some provinces might allow you to use a regulated NOC even if you don't have the license - you just won't be able to use the title officially in Canada (e.g. Professional Engineer).
However, as other people have reported as well, Saskatchewan is very keen on license, otherwise they reject you. Other people have reported same.
So my advise is just in general to be on the safe side.

Hi Yasser,

I guess Saskatchewan has different policy when it comes to applicants applying under regulated occupations. I am not really familiar with their policy but I was able to take a quick look from their website and here's what it says there:

SINP applicants intending to work in a regulated occupation that requires mandatory or compulsory certification or licensure must provide proof of eligibility for licensure as part of their SINP application.

One good thing bout Manitoba, they are accepting applicants working on regulated occupations and allow them to pursue the licensing process when they get there. I was quite rattled last night reading your post as I thought it was a new policy from CIC but good to know that Stay just got an LOA (Letter of Approval or Nomination Certificate) and I had friends who applied from the old system under the same NOC and they were successfully admitted.

Hope you'll find another option to apply, why not try MPNP...

By the way after few minutes being rattled I got my status updated to Assessment in Process...yey! God bless us all.

Hi TrishIa

Thanks for your further information, it has bee a good news regarding your new application stqatus and hope you all the best !

Actually my sister and her family live in SAS and I want to take this advantage but the after this discussion, it is almost impossible to get Licensure before entering SAS.
The question is:
Can I take the advantage of my sister family who live in SAS in other provinces?
if I nominated by another province, Will I lose any if I moved to SAS after getting a nomination of different province?
Please feed me in this?

Regards

hello ,

I have been going through this thread. I have a quick question, i am living in alberta and thinking to apply for Alberta Immigration Nomination program (AINP). Currently i am working as an articling student, i am NOT doing any designation (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA). I am ACCA qualified which is based in London U.K. I did a diploma in Accounting from NAIT in edmonton though.

so my question is that i was thinking to apply for AINP under NOC 1111 which includes articling students but it also says qualification as CA, CMA, CGA or CPA and requires university degree

so do i have to have a designation and a degree in order to apply for under NOC 1111 as an articling student?

looking forward for helpful advices

thanks

here is the link for NOC 1111
