Application returned - need help!

Hello Guys -

I applied under the CEC class at the beginning of September. However, my credit card got blocked in October so CIC today returned my application with the same reason stated that it fee payment got declined.

I have to reapply.

Do I need to fill in new forms and apply?

All of the documents I sent have a hole on top left (the one you do to put in file folder). Is it okay if I use those in my new application (job letter, birth certificate translation, tax form). I can't reproduce the originals. Do you think it would be fine if I submit it with that?

Really need help from you guys! I'm worried.

Yes its better to reapply with new documents as already 2 months over.
Look for other members options also.

Check if any of the forms have been changed, as CIC changes the format of the form without notice, if theare are new forms available than better to fill out the new forms and resubmbit the application.

It's returned due to payment getting declined. I did not pay online.

My main concern is that can I resubmit the supporting documents (few of those) with that punch in hole on the top left ? (CEC did it when they were processing my application).

I will pay online this time. Do I have to wait for few days or can I do it right away after making it online?

Same exact thing happened to me. I downloaded the most recent and up-to-date forms and resubmitted my application with those, however, I did use the same PCC and IELTS certificates. I am sure your supporting documents will be accepted with no problem. I will suggest that you pay your fees online this time though so as to avoid any further problem. I got my AOR so I'm sure you'll get yours!

Thank you for the reply. I will resubmit. However, were your supporting documents had that punch hole as well on the top left? That is the only thing concerning me i.e. these are official documents signed but have holes on top left :S confused lol

Yes, they had the hole punched in them also. I would not worry about that. Gather all your documents and resend them ASAP so you don't waste anymore time. Pay online and send the receipt with your application.

"Family Class (spouse or common-law partner, parents, grandparents, adopted children and other member of family)
Quebec Skilled Workers
Provincial Nominee
Protected Person in Canada
Live-in Caregiver
Humanitarian and Compassionate
Spouse and Common-Law Partner in Canada Class
Permit Holder’s Class"

You can choose any option, as long as you pay $550 application fee for every applicant.
I don't know why CEC is not on that list anymore.

What if the amount on the receipt I paid online is correct, but I selected the wrong service or type of application at the time of payment?

The online payment receipt is not linked to the particular service or application you selected at the time of payment. If the amount of the receipt is still correct, you can submit it with the application.

I just talked to the CEC agent on phone. He is saying I don't need to redo all the forms. I can just add missing document (which in my case is the online fee) and resent just like that. What do you guys think?
