My application was returned and I am now out of Canada
they want a photo that is stamped from the back and I don't have one
Shall I ask the photographer in my country now to stamp the photo?
Any Advice?

I wouldn't give a photo that was taken outside Canada. they will see it, and give you an RQ because it shows you were not in Canada. My advice is to go back to Canada, take your picture in Canada, then resend your application.

I recommend having a friend or family member call the CIC Helpline from Canada (it is not accessible from overseas) and ask the agent about proper procedure in such a case. You do not have to give your identifying information, so you can remain anonymous.

The Citizenship Act states that the photos must meet the specification in the application form to include stamp of date taken and photographer details. Nothing about this being in Canada so the photographer in your country can do it but you need to take the photo spec with you so there are no more errors. However if you left Canada immediately after applying with 1095 days of physical presence and no buffer you may no longer meet the physical residence criteria and you will get RQd. As someone suggested you may need to return to Canada.
