Hey there,
As some of you know from the April 2012 forums that my application got rejected because the officer was not satisfied that I met the skilled work experience and the Canadian educational credentials requirements.
They said that although I did obtain a degree from a Canadian institution my transcript indicated that I was not registered in full time studies for two years. My application was then evaluated under the worker stream and was told that I have not acquired 24 months of full-time employment in the 36 months prior to the submission of my application in a NOC level A, B, 0.
Now I will be applying again in January 2013 and even got a letter from the office of the registrar stating that I was a full time student at the university from September 2007 to April 2009 and have gathered all the necessary documents again. I even went ahead and ordered my TOEFL results again which I gave earlier in March.
My biggest concern however is my birth certificate and police clearence that i got from my country. I sent original copies of both my birth certificate and the police clearence. Is there a way I can get those back? How am i going to get back my birth certificate? Getting a police clearence from the regional waterloo police isn't an issue but getting one from back home takes a fairly long time. Since my application got rejected in October 2012 shouldn't they already have all that information?
Also will the new Work experience take effect in January 2013 for CEC Applications? I currently stand at 20 months of fulll time work experience rather then the 24 assuming they strictly look at my application from a worker stream perspective.
