My application was rejected today. I received an email saying that the officer was not satisfied with the duties I performed. I applied under noc code 6235 what can I do???? Can I reapply how can find my code???

I am not satisfied that you meet the skilled work experience requirement because you have not demonstrated that you have acquired at least 12 months of full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work experience, in one or more occupations that are listed in Skill Type O Management Occupations or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification matrix. All of your work experience, except 0.5 months listed under NOC 6231, has been declared as NOC 6235. Financial sales representatives (NOC 6235) sell basic deposit, investment and loan products and services to individuals and businesses. You have not gained experience in essential duties of this NOC including interviewing applicants for loans, assessing client’s financial status and completing credit and loan documentation. As a result, I am not satisfied that you have acquired experience under NOC 6231 as defined by the lead statement and main duties.

Can you share your timeline please, Leon? How long after you received the AOR did you receive the rejection?

seems like you applied with the wrong NOC code. you can re-apply with that code they suggested for you, which is NOC 6231 and I'm sure your chances this time will be better. the thing is, you'd need to gather your information and pay the fees again.

sorry about ur rejection Leon, did u applied under the canada graduate stream???

Yes I did man, I am having such a hard time figuring out which noc cose to use? Inapplied under Noc 6235. But officer is not satisfied I did the main duties like loan documentation and loan application. I was a banker amd a mutual fund rep too. But I thought this code will be more than good as it says in employment requirements a mutual fund license is usually required.

Apply GCMS notes along with physical files under the Privacy Act in Canada, learn and rectify the reasons, reapply or send a consideration letter explaining in details, VO might reconsider your application or refuse again.

You will find VO's details explanation for refusing your application on the GCMS notes.

Do you know what will be the difference between the privacy act and the information act?

Privacy act - request for information about your own application and is free of charge. This is the one you should use.
Information act- can be used to receive information about someone else, and this option has a service charge.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that because i have so similar situatuion. What your title? How did you reference wrote? Did it only montioned your mutual fund licecnced??

Did you find out as well if CIC called your company?
