Application rejected due to PCC - mistake by CIC?

Hello,

I received a message from CIC today stating that my application is rejected due to incomplete submission of documents. They said :

The Police certificate from France was not provided. This document is required based on address/background history from 2012/09/20 to 2013/03/30. It appears you resided six months or more in that country.​

Background:

• I was studying in France in 2011 to 2012 March/April
• Left France for a few months
• went back in 2012 Sept to 2013 March for an internship, under a renewed student visa on the SAME passport and under the same name

The French PCC I submitted was dated 3 May, 2017. This effectively means throughout my stay in France up to May 2017, I had no criminal record.up to May, 2017, including the stated period of 2012/09/20 to 2013/03/30. The French ministry of Justice will not offered dated PCC either. They will only issue 1 letter than covers my entire stay.

Therefore, this is a mistake by the officer. What can I do to tell them that my PCC covers the whole period?

If i am to open a new application again, do I need to give my latest bank statement letters? The ones I submitted was 1.5 months old.

Raise a CSE and politely explain that your PCC covers your entire stay. Good luck!

Have you confirmed with French authorities that your PCC covers your entire stay? I think a confirmation email or any sort of reference number etc from them will make your appeal stronger.

I have called them but they said they don't issue such kind of emails
I have changed my visa in Dubai once due to change of work sponsor. CIC didn't ask me to send 2 Dubai PCC either. They only asked for France.

Alright! Raise a CSE ASAP. I hope CIC consider your request since it seems to be an error from their side.
