Application Refused - Refund Query?

Got an email about rejection of application. Email states.

The fees that you have paid are refundable. You will receive a cheque within eight to twelve weeks

I want to know are there any deductions in refund cheque. Is the refund cheque in the name of the principle applicant?

at what NOC category did you applied for ?

I put a wrong NOC Code.- I did not use one of the codes in LIST OF 32.

Is there any possibility of getting rejected at the first step. i.e. after sending the filled Forms to Sydney.

Or it gets rejects at next step when we send the Documents to CHC...

it can get rejected at stage 1 as well. it was rejected for Abhishek12 and sunnyboy786 at Sydney, NS. Got rejected at CHC ND stage for charmeuse.

So, rejection can happen at any stage

What could be the reasons of rejecting at first step.

there could be a host of reasons

innacurate NOC.
mismatch of NOC.
NOC not in list of 38 occupations.
job duties claimed not on the duties list of the NOC claimed.
insufficient points claimed.
insufficient funds claimed.

these are what i can think of. I'll suggest you to relax and start collecting documents rather that spending time thinking what could go wrong. the best time to think was before sending the application, when you could've done something about it

Yes I think you are right.

From my end I think I have not done anything wrong. Only I am confused about my Draft and that too was due to some confusion though I read it was without 'The' in 'Receiver General for Canada'. I hope it would be accepted by them. Aamin.

Relating to NOC I have listed Codes as was listed on the site and being not Manager and applying under FSW is also a big question. But I am performing almost all managerial duties taht I have defined them by writing a letter. On Forms I have given NOCs as 0213 and 2282. Hoping and praying for things to give positive turn. Insha-allah.


So in next step what documents would be needed and what would be its process.
