Hey All,
Well I got my PPr on the 17th of December ad sent my passport the very next day,
24th December Ecas changed to Decision made, So wondering when can i expect my passport back :)
Anyone? :P :P :P :P :P :P

I think it is different for every
To do this you can not get a clear answer.

In my case, it was not 4 weeks and I had my COPR
 
any update guys ?

The ottawa office asked for my security clearance from Pakistan. I sent that clearan on October 23rd, 2012 and since then ECAS says in Process. Any comments ?
 
This thread seems quiet these days...I just got refused work permit extension. So I can legally stay in Canada till the end of April. My file was recieved May 2011 but still waiting for criminal checks I believe. If my immigration is still not done after my work permit expires, would I get into any problems??

It is such that as long as you can stay in Canada until the final decision was made.
And that is what the Immigration Department decides
While you can officially stay in Canada, even if your current visa expires
You are, so to speak, on hold until the decision.

I actually came back to my original country to wait for my PR, so I wanted to keep the work permit just in case I need to go back for any further document requests etc. Now that my work permit expires in 3 months, I can only hope that my PR will arrive before that.

Hi evilpupil

I am sorry to know that your work permit extension was denied. I was an April 2011 applicant under QSW and got my AOR on 28th Nov 2012. I did my landing on 11th Jan 2013. So I think you will be getting your AOR soon (who knows you might get it even before your current work permit expires!). Why dont you apply for GCMS notes in the meantime and see exactly what is going on in your file.
