Any update? Are you planning to get GCMS notes or contact MP anytime soon?

Hi MC_CA,

Thank you.

I think we all will get the PPR one day. It is just a matter of time...

I remember one of my friends who is also PNP applicant with similar qualification to me sent her file 4 months later than me however got PPR in Jan, 2012. While I felt happy for her but also felt unfair for me at that time...

But sometimes waiting is also a way to expect more... and maybe there are more good things for us who are waiting.

Just be patient and think positive.

:)

Hi Cece205, just got my PPR as well after 16 month. :)

I did an inquiry for my application status and got this reply. does it means my application is in Ottawa -case processing center right now?

I hope its faster than 4 weeks. WNIBC only waited for 17 days (from the time he sent his passport to Seattle) to get his passport back.

As far as I know, the PPR letter was just saying that we need to send our passport to them within 30 days but it doesnt say that it will take maximum of 4 weeks before getting our passport back.

@ haybu12,

That's right

It was only 2 days in Seattle.
The rest of the time it was on to the journey ;D

But it is certainly not generally so fast, so I think
And I was an easy case :D
Without family, completely alone

Hi Haybu12,

I think they have different versions of PPR letter. this is what i got from them:

PASSPORT RETURN:

Once you have mailed your passports to us, they will be mailed to you within four weeks from the date we receive them. We will mail permanent residence documents to addresses in the USA or Canada only. Please note that the visa office in Seattle will not return your passports/documents using any courier services. Please read the following instructions very carefully.
