Its been more than a month since the address disappeared from ECAS. Never been so long, seems more like a mass update.

I have been told by my immigration consultant that applicants from Pakistan and certain "other" countries go through additional security checks. Is that true?

My application was filed on March 3, 2011 and my eCAS still shows "Application Received". It never changed to "In Process" even though I did my medical exam on September 12, 2011.

Why do you think your case is stuck in background check.. You might be right but also there is a possibility that your file has not been reviewed yet! The background check might have been done a while ago the queue is so big that your case might just not have been reviewed yet.

Mine disappeared in Dec 17th and then returned sometime around Jan 10th. It disappeared again then a few weeks later and returned again a few days later and now I have two addresses.

I presume thats what happened to everyone else? I'm just wondering why Sharuu's is still missing.
