Application R'cd - Nov 16, 2011
Med and Ackn - April 20, 2012
Med Sent - May 2012
ECAS updated med r'cd - first week in June, 2012

Ecas still show application received up till date. My question is how long does passport request take after Med was received. Also why is my Ecas still show application recieved and not in process.

Any help Please.......... i applied under saskatchewan nominee

Hi.

In my case, I got a PPR after 5month when I was done my medical.
I don't think ECAS's info. is showing your current status. Some people just got a their PPR without showing "in process" on the ECAS.
I know what your feeling that waiting PPR, but you don't need to worry about that.
You will get a good news soon as your time line.

I sent my documents to Windsor yesterday.

Hi Raylee, I sent my passport on 18th to Windsor. Canadapost website shows that it will be delivered today. Lets keep in touch.

Newbruswicker, I have a questions. How big is your return envelope? I am thinking to get a large one in case the have large paper to send back. But I am not sure how I am gonna fit that in.

I mailed them on 18, Sep. to Windsor using Xpresspost. It will be delivered today or tommorrow. I will keep post on here.

I sent them using big envelope and put inside small envelop for returning. I think we will get back just some paper from Detroit. I can't explain that envelope, but one is large size (letter) and the other one is harf size of first one (standard).

According to Canada post:

max. 318 mm 241 mm 15 mm 500 g

Actually I already sent them as below.
- my cope of passport
- 2 photos
- An additional piece of paper for my height and eye colour information
- A copy of the letter which we got from Ottawa by email

Hope it's ok! I thought that the return envelope only needs who sent their original passport.

If you don't include return envelope, I think they gonna send it back to you by regular mail.

My timeline is like this,

We received your application for permanent residence on December 16, 2011.

We started processing your application on July 4, 2012.

Medical results have been received. some around early May, 2012

Passport request on Sept 20, 2012

I sent the copy of passport and all what they asked on yesterday, Hope I can get the visa soon!
