Application reached Buffalo on 30 November 2011

Hi,

I received my SINP nomination in the month of October 2011 and I sent in the federal application to Buffalo on 28 Noverber 2011. Till date, I have not received any reply from them with regards to my application. I've checked the status of my application on E-CAS and it says application received. I am just wondering if anyone here is facing the same issue as I did? I haven't even received my file number, it's been 4 1/2 months. I am worried that the police clearance certificate is expiring in 3 weeks time. I hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks

How comes a person sent his application, and wait for 5 months and no reply??

I could not use E status, it shows nothing.

and they said they do not have a record of my application.

but they cashed my bank draft 3 months ago...

I think they only send out emails once a month, and mostly at the end of the month to control the speed. it's my guess.we can wait till the end of April see what happens first.

Mine is worse

you can access into e status, and you know you file has been transferred to Ottawa.

But I contact buffalo, they told me they do not have a record of my application, and I am not able to access into e status..

That is why I am so worried...

Don't be too worried, we are all on the same boat. Send them a email if you don't have you don't receive anything by the end of the month. I think we will hear something soon, either this week or next week.

Buffalo told me do not ask case processing status within 30 weeks...
It only 22 weeks from I sent to them.

You may be able to avoid unnecessary delays by:
avoiding repeated inquiries to the visa office.

I have another question. I may change my address as I am looking for a bigger and better place to rent. I don't know how this will affect my application...anybody has suggestions?

send an email to them with the new address... and when you get your AOR/medical you will get it in email... so it will no affect those things...

I'm in the same boat

I sent my application to the visa office on Nov. 21st and I still have not received my AOR. I can't access e-cas either.
So, I guess the best thing to do is wait after it's been 8 months and then contact the visa office???

We received your application for permanent residence on December 13, 2011. Even though I mailed it in Nov....

Anyways, good thing to see it changing, hope everyone left in November will get their AOR and MR soon.

Khowe, will they update Ecas when medical request is sent? I have been able to access ecas for almost a month now, still haven't got any AOR or MR...strange...

No, you wont see anything on Ecas indicating that a medical request is sent. I was able to access Ecas before I got my AOR/MR and it only said my application was received on November 14, 2011. My AOR and MR came in the same email from Ottawa with the subject line "Acknowledgement of Receipt EPXXXXXXXX" a couple of weeks after I could log into Ecas.

Good luck to the other November folks still waiting....I am sure you will hear something soon!

My application reached on November 30, 2011 at Buffalo embassy. Bank Draft cashed on 25 January 2012. Till to date no response, nothing on E-CAS too. I don't know whats is happening with my file. God please look at me ???.
