Application reached Buffalo on 30 November 2011

I submitted application to Buffalo on 30 November, my draft was cashed on 25 January. After that no new till now...It is Alberta PNP category

wow, exact same as mine, received on 30 Nov, draft was cashed on 25 Jan, still wait for initial reply

I had received an email from buffalo on January 17, 2012. They had asked me to justify gaps. I did send an email back. My bank draft was cashed on Feb 21, 2012. I received my AOR form buffalo yesterday.

But I cant access my account on Ecas.

did you get your medical request as well? both of them by email?

Draft cashed on 21st feb and AOR received 1st week of march
But Ecas says application received 17 Jan and not 30 Nov. Which is not the case.

I still haven’t received medical yet.

still nothing, some people submitted theirs behind mine, and they got their AOR + MR from ottawa already, but I have nothing. It has been 3 and half months after I submitted my pr application to buffalo under BC PNP. anyone know what is going on? why this happened? what should i do?


I really want to get my status as soon as possible; then, I can work for anyone I want!

It takes 30 weeks to get first file number from the embassy, that's what they told me.....we have to wait

My application reached Buffalo around 20th November. I checked with my bank and draft was cashed on 15th Jan. I am still waiting for AOR and Medical request. I guess the new process in Sydney CIO is a lot faster. We got stuck with the old system.

Received medical via snail mail. Its still not very comforting as many of us are not getting transferred to Ottawa.

Medicals will be going to Ottawa, I guess that is standardized for all.

Have you been able to access ecas using your client Id number? If not, you should send a case specific inquiry. I had received an email on 17 Jan regarding incomplete sections and feb 21 my draft was cashed.

Hi, visa office said do not contact them within 30 weeks. and they told me they do not have a record of my application.Permanent resident applications are created in our database within thirty weeks of receipt. How should I contact them? what should I say?

While it sucks to have to wait, I don't think there is much you can do. Back in 2011, before the Ottawa office opened, people were routinely waiting more than 4 months to receive an AOR. Everyone's expectations changed once we saw applications moving quickly, but I think we all need to remember that the Ottawa office is temporary. Your draft was cashed around the same time as mine, so I would bet that you will hear something very soon.

I submitted my application at the end of Nov 2011, still haven't got any response from them. I called BMO to put a trace on my money order, they haven't got back to me yet. I heard pnp lost priority in the gov's programs since Dec, not sure if that's true.
