Application process time

Hi ,
I am student in toronto canada, I been here since sep '2005 ,
I put my file for PR in april , got my file no and they started my process on june 2007 ,
so how long it ll take to get my PR ,
I come to know that it will take 6 to 8 months so could i expect their reply by jan or feb ?
Please help me out for this,

It´s very, very unlikely you´ll get it that fast.
Checke the CIC website for processing times. You can also check trackitt.com to get a better idea.

It took me appx 10 months to get PPR. I am also a student in ON, Canada. I filed my application in Feb, 2007, tool medicals in Oct and got PPR in early Dec. Good luck

u are lucky that u got all on time ,
what you think should i call to cic for my stutus or just wait for their reply ?
and anything u want to tell me from your side ....
