Good day,

I am a 30 years old registered nurse in Jamaica and have not yet taken the nursing licensing exam for Alberta, (that's where we are Interested to move to). My husband is a 31 years old Electrical Engineer and presently works as a Facilities manager. He is the primary applicant. We completed the express entry profile and got a score 371. Do we need to do anything besides wait at this point or is there something more we need to do?

Based on what I have seen I guess wait for your ITA. I'm a RN myself trying to understand the process.

371 is really low. Are you going to try to apply for provincial nomination? I don’t know much about it other than you get 600 points which boosts your score. Not sure why your score is so low.

Thank you for your response. That is what I keep hearing, "that score is too low", but I do not know why. I have tried numerous times but the score is either the same or lower. How do I go about Provincial Nomination?

I don’t know how to send a link. We have a Jamaican group. I’ll see if I can add. Maybe you could ask there. Did you do ielts? Get your degree evaluated?

Okay. Yes, I did IELTS in February and did the degree evaluation with WES. Also did the NNAS Assesment and got authorized to do NCLEX.

If you get the PNP link that would be great. Their last draw for PNP they accepted scores of 303.
