I'm preparing for common law immigration application now. I'm wondering whether I can apply for "outside of canada" category since this one is faster. My bf is Canadian and I'm living and working in Canada too.
If we can apply through this category, will there be any problems during the process?
Thanks

Hi! Don't quote me on this but you will have to go to wherever you have current citizenship to get your passport all stamped up but you can defo apply within Canada. My husband needed to do his through the London uk high commission and we were told it was quicker to do it whilt in the uk?! It took 6 months from start to finish. Good luck!!

Yes you can apply whilst both of you are in Canada using the outland application. It is faster and if the worst happened you would have a right of appeal as well.
