Hi All,

I got my PR in 2018 and on the back of the PR card where it says PR since: the date is mentioned 01 Jan 2018 but I crossed border on 01 May 2018 and same date stamped on my passport that’s when my actual physical presence date starts counting from my understanding. Now that am eligible for my citizenship which date do I need to enter in my citizenship application. The date on my PR card is 01 Jan 2018 or The date on passport stamped May 01 2018 after receiving confirmation of PR.

Kindly, suggest TIA

Well, I suggest that you use the day you "actually" became a PR and count your days from that date.

You can add a letter of explanation and submit it with your citizenship application and explain that the date of landing is incorrectly mentioned on your PR card and your actual date of landing as a PR was in May and not in Jan.
