application missing

Hi everyone,

I submitted my family class sponsorship to CPC-mississauga in October last year. I called CIC today and they said they do not receive my application. But I tracked the mail and it said item successfully delivery. Does anyone have some ideas if all my documents were missing or the CIC had not open my application?

If I were you I'd call the Call Centre.
Maybe it's missing somewhere and they might find it with time.
Call them.

You have to pay for the signature service with Canada Post. What address you sent it to and what courier did you use?, or you used Canada post

I used canada post and I sent to CPC MISSISSAUGA PO BOX 5040, L5A3A4
I used Xpress service , I though I asked the signature service, but , anyways, I will call CIC to see if they can find it.

A PO Box can't sign for a package. If you wanted a signature, you should have sent it to the courier address.

I think you should prepared to send other application as soon as possible. My friend had same experience before.
CIC couldn't find it , and tell her to resend.

I did not receive the AOR, I called CIC this morning and one said they received the mail but has't started the process.
So how long I have to wait for AOR?

It is usually between 2-10 months, not everybody receives it at all though, some people just call and find out this way.

Not true, I sent via Canada Post too express delivery to the P.O Box adress. Person signed it and I recieved my AOR on Apr 2, 2015. I application was recieved on Feb 18, 2015. YOU have to pay for the signature service it is not included with xpress post delivery
