I have my wife as my dependent on my PR CEC application. I received this letter in my profile this week. Just wondering if anyone else here received anything like this ?

"This is in reference to your application for permanent residence. To finalize your application, we require
the following documents from your overseas dependent(s). Passports for dependent(s) should only be
submitted after you, the primary applicant have received your confirmation of permanent residence status."
Can you share what's the next step here ? I'm in the same boat.

So we got a "Request Letter", which is addressed to the Primary applicant - he is in Canada on WP, dependent is in India. Letter has below:

Primary Office: Vancouver Immigration
Dear <PRIMARY APPLICANT_NAME>

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence. To finalize your application, we require the following documents from your overseas dependent(s). Passports for dependent(s) should only be submitted after you, the primary applicant has received the confirmation of permanent residence status.

Questions:
1. Primary applicant should expect a Confirmation of PR email as mentioned in some of the posts?
2. By when can we expect a landing interview?
3. What should we do from our end?
What's the next step here?

Hello everyone, reading posts on this forum has helped me through my PR processing, I would just like to share my experience as below.

I was 10 days away from completion the promised 6 months processing time when I decided to call IRCC, upon which the agent told me my PPR mail was sent to my email-id a month back, which I never received. Went through a couple of posts mailed my VO (Delhi) called them but no answer. Next day I mailed CPC Ottawa and raised a CSE, which I did on a Friday evening around 6 pm and after 1 hour I had my mail to submit my passports.

Thankyou, and all the best.

Is it possible that the IRCC agents on the phone would give you a different status on your application than what you have showing online on your account?
Could eligibility be passed while online it shows as still being reviewed?

I think it can. You'll need GCMS notes to know for sure.

So I had called IRCC agent yesterday and got to know that a decision was made for my file on 16th Jan by the visa officer . Normally we get a PPR email but in my case they are sending me a physical post mail from Edmonton office. Not sure if this is normal ?

Yesterday I got passport request (PPR) for PR application, in the letter it is mentioned only my name and address. I am the primary applicant. However, the letter requests to submit passport of my overseas dependents (wife ) at the top of request letter .

So could I consider this as single request for my spouse and myself or will I get another one to my passport ?

Request letter details below

Hello,

I am on the same boat. My application was approved on feb 8; however, i haven’t received any letters or emails or messages. The webform agent told me that a physical letter was sent to my address; however I haven’t received that either. What is your status now?

yeah that makes send, I wonder why the IRCC agent mentioned that I would receive something by mail or email before getting the interview request. Maybe it was something they used to do- sending out something else for us to bring to the interview? We should just follow that the email says lol
Hello Wendy,

I am on the same boat. Application was approved and the webform reply I got was that a physical letter was sent to me. I haven’t received that letter nor any emails or messages or ppr. Did you end up receiving that letter?
