Application Gone Beyond 6 months???

Hello :)

Anyone here whose application for Permanent Residency has gone beyond the 6 month mark of processing time?? What did CIC tell you? :-X
I have had my application in for almost 6 months (6 more days to that mark) lady I spoke with from Citizenship and Immigration Canada mentioned that it is a good thing because it means that they have all they require to make a final decision on my application but just wondering whether there is anyone on this forum with a similar situation they are going through/have gone through? Please let me know, thank you :)

Did you apply for the FSW from outside Canada. Majority of July FSWC appliicants (outlanders) are still waiting for their PPR. Hopefully, you guys would hear from CIC this week.

Is your bg check -- in progress?
