Application from Abroad

Good day,

I'm a Canadian citizen living abroad and I will be filing for my spousal immigration from New Delhi office within a month or so. I got married in December 2012.

Some facts:
1) I've been living outside Canada since 2008, and filing my taxes regularly, the first few years were unemployed followed by incorporation and I still need to file my tax for 2013 - reason I'm mentioning this is for option C printout.
2) I'm currently residing in between India and middle east, but most of the time I'm in India with my wife. And reason for my travel is due to our family business expansion.
3) We have a partner in one of the country in middle east and to ease the travel and to avoid visa restrictions, he has undertaken me under his sponsorship - which means that I can go in and out of the country with ease. Getting this sponsorship is not easy, I had to run around for 8 months to get it. Again FYI.

Now my questions:
1) Should I mention the time I lived in other countries? These were business travels and ranged from 2-6 months period. My home base is India.
2) Some of my friends have applied from these middle eastern countries and the local office told them to take a final exit visa from the country. I cannot risk that hence my questions 1. Additionally I do intend to live in Canada after my spouse gets her immigration but I will still be travelling between Canada and middle east due to business.
3) Now since businesses are complicated abroad and in Canada, it is one of the reason I was filing incorporation tax. To support that is it good idea to mention that I'm looking after business abroad or no need in the evaluation form ?

Thanks for your help.

According to section 130(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, a sponsor who is a Canadian citizen and does not reside in Canada may sponsor their spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner or dependent child who has no dependent children if the sponsor will reside in Canada when the applicant becomes a permanent resident.

Therefore you can submit the sponsorship application from the present country of residence.
You may have to return to Canada before granting the PR visa to your spouse.
The visa office will definitely ask your spouse to submit the proof of your presence in Canada before they take a final decision.

I see, so it's not like they will grant the PR to her while i'm living abroad with her.

What if I show bank statements with the savings I may have ? or do I mention in the forms that I will apply for a job after going there?

If all that fails then I better establish my incorporation business. I bought a condo and the closing is Jan 2015, will that help ?

sorry for all these questions, I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
