Hi,
I alongwith a close friend of mine had applied for a few Canadian universities and both of us got in successfully for the Fall session this year as International students. I am going to apply for my student visa soon. However, it was really unfortunate as I came to know that my friend was diagnosed with TB during December last year. She is naturally depressed with all this and is currently undergoing the 6 to 9 month therapy stringently as per the doctor's advice since Dec. The ongoing treatment as per doctors looks good and she will complete her 6 month rigor in June this year following which she is planning to apply for the student visa alongwith attaching a DMP's medical certificate (as we understand that after a 6 month therapy the virus becomes inactive) to quicken the process.
If anyone can advise if the above approach is good, it will really help since she doesn't want to drop this year. Any other helpful suggestions/advices are appreciated.
Thanks.
