Hi everyone,
I am an Ontario PNP nominee holder currently working in Canada on PGWP and my application for PR is in middle of processing -Paper based application. I am planning to get married soon. So my question is; after my marriage is my spouse (lives in a different country) eligible for applying Open work permit by just submitting my PNP certificate (not the PGWP, because it’s going to expire within 6 months) with the other documents?
FYI: I have a closed PNP nomination with specific employer.

Thanks in advance.

I think "PNP Certificate" itself has no help with any WP application, for yourself or your spouse.

With that being said, you can
1. Ask your wife to apply WP with your current PGWP, and the expire date of her WP should be the same with your PGWP.
2. Wait until you get the AOR of your PR application and you apply a Bridging work permit with your PR AOR. Finally, your spouse can have her WP with your new Bridging Work Permit.
