Hi, Thanks for reading this query.

I am filling up the application form for minors (under 18).

I have a question on Q - 8F

-------Did you leave Canada for more than 1 year before February 15th 1977?-----------
Me and my family were not canadian citizens at this time. I am born in 1974 and lived outside canada during this time. But I was never in Canada to leave Canada during that time. What should I enter here? Y or N? Please advise. Thanks.

Question of leaving Canada is relevant only if u were in Canada in the first place!!
So NA.

This is the following I see on the instruction guide -
Indicate whether you left Canada for more than one (1) year before 1977. If yes, provide the dates you were away and indicate the country you were staying in. If you acquired Canadian citizenship after February 14, 1977, indicate “N/A” (Not Applicable).

- so, wouldnt NA not be the answer here?
