Hi
I have check the box that indicates that one of my grandparents was born outside Canada, but was a Canadian citizen at the time of your Canadian parents’ birth.
The issue is that only one of my grandparents was (and still is) a Canadian citizen, and the other never came to Canada.
It looks like I need to provide the other grandparent details such as Canadian certificate number, which is not relevant to the other grandparent.

So, do I still need to fill the other grandparent details and just write N/A in the non-applicable fields, or otherwise?

Thank you

And another question: if me and brother are requesting the Citizenship Certificate, do we both need to go to the embassy to submit the application, or can I go by myself?
Does the personal presence of both of us is required?

Fill in information for both parents and all grandparents, even if not Canadian citizens. For questions that don't apply (such as certificate number), write N/A.

If you are in the U.S., mail your application to Sydney, NS. If elsewhere, apply through the Canadian consulate/embassy/high commission. You would have to check with the consulate as to whether they require each applicant to appear in person.
