application delivered by FEDEX on 23th Jun

Dear Seniors,

I sent FSW application of NOC 0213 to CIO on 16th Jun 2010 by FEDEX courier. As per FEDEX tracking application was delivered to S. LAHEY at CIO on 23th Jun 2010.

But I have not received any delivery notification from CIO yet on my mentioned email address in application.
At what rules my application will be processed?

I think the old rules (pre Jun 26th rule) because they received yours before Jun 26th. Good luck.

8. How will applications subject to new instructions be processed as compared to applications subject to the first set of instructions and the backlog?

All applications subject to ministerial instructions (everything received since February 27, 2008) will be considered for processing in the order they are received.

All federal skilled worker applications received before February 27, 2008 fall into the backlog, and will be processed concurrently with the applications received since that date (and that are subject to instructions).

Federal Skilled Worker applications (see footnote 1) received by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney on or after June 26, 2010, accompanied by the results of the principal applicant’s English or French language proficiency assessment, (see footnote 2) not exceeding the identified caps and that meet either of the following criteria shall be placed into processing:

1. Applications submitted with an Arranged Employment Offer (AEO) consistent with requirements of subsection 82(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.

or

2. Applications from skilled workers with evidence of experience in the last 10 years under one or more (see footnote 3) of the following National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes: etc etc


Since yours was received at CIO before Jun 26th, you should be OK!!!!

Does CIO sends any email regarding receiving date?

no. i think only after they do their processing (which is checking the application).

cud u plz..suggest that what to write against NOC # as follows, should i write the my qualifying NOC i.e. 0213 or all the NOC i have for my application pls advise

I am exactly in the same situation! I sent on 17 June by Fedex, and it was delivered on 23 June. (according to Fedex). So, now I am curious whether my application In or not.... So, pls let me know if you get any news, I will do the same. Thanks!

if you have 67 point as per rules on & before 26 June for NOC 0213; you will get (AOR) e-mail (case receiving confirmation); if you do not have 67 points then it will be rejected; if you have made any mistake in the form or missed to fill any thing; you will get you application back but in that case you may not get chance to apply again for NOC 0213.

I am concerned for following; when I applied to CIC last year, ILETS result was not mandatory to send to CIC;
(someone above has pasted the following); so if you have sent ILETs result as pert of full document; you have done smart decision;

I have read through this forum about applicants who applied under the rules prior to 2008 and after waiting for years they got the reply of rejection stating "You dont fall under the new rules" so in this scenario after the June 26th nobody is sure whether their applications will be accepted who applied in June 2010 I filed in June too and I am not sure if any mistakes come out in the forms like leaving blank spaces instead of writing "N/A" will they return it and whether after resubmitting I will fall under the new list. Also if the application form is not stamped as "Recieved" will it be considered under the new rules or old. They are very important questions I invite all of you for discussions so we can make our minds clear about the problems created by the June 26. Thank you

I read somewhere in CIC website that they consider Date of postal stamp. means u r thru. !!!! U will rcv +ve reply from them. Best wishes....
