Thank you . Also is it bad that the Munster don’t want to attend my hearing. Does it make the case worse ?

The bad part is the notice of intent to intervene. You should start working with a lawyer if you aren't already.

They dont publish that kind of statistics, the two issues mentioned are part of credibility test, especially being in Canada for 4 yrs, and applied for refugee after refusal to extend your Study Permit. Its all on you and your lawyer to overcome those issues, best way is to make submission for those issues before the hearing

I didn’t apply after I got denied, my SP ext was denied back in 2019 and has been approved a lot of times have that. Thank you for your time

I missed that part or there were no additional information offered. What was your status from 2019 after being denied?

also my defence is that the question was were you ever denied a visa… I never thought it meant a SP.

3. They are asking why did it take me this long to claim refugee if have been in canada 4 years ago.
My question is has anyone had this kind of encounter before. and how was the hearing? Was it hard and what was the decision.

The best thing to do is, whatever information you submit to IRCC or IRB that is permanently recorded, so it's always best to go through and cross check from your end before submitting. Once you submit you don't have choice unless they ask you for an explanation.
I had previous refusals and mentioned on the form (BOC). I looked up on my applications which printed and kept safely, I took information from there according to the applications. I was asked by the IRCC officer during my 2nd eligibility interview about my refusals though I put accurate information and she just wanted be clear one more time. She told me, I see you mentioned about your previous visa refusals and we found same information through out your fingerprints. Luckily I wasn't asked too much questions about refusals but she inquired about multiple refusals and I answered perfectly including dates and she was satisfied, the case referred to IRB, now still waiting for hearing date.

Just wondering,
On this IRCC update, did you get any hearing date? Your time line is almost similar to me. I'm still waiting for hearing. I don't know if this is usual delay.

Go to a lawyer and let IRCC know an acceptable explanation that would fit to the IRCC's asked questions. It's very common when a person becomes refugee then he/she goes through so many mental pressures, trauma. You may forget something as a human as you've coming from a different perspective or environment because you're a refugee and traumatized.

I see a lot people got their status already who applied with me at the same time line. I'm still waiting for my hearing or update after 2nd eligibility interview which was done on 11th March, 2023. (Case referred to IRB)
