application cancelled

Hello Everyone,

Just a few hours ago my application was deemed incomplete and was cancelled, to give a bit of background I have lived in 2 cities in India (Bangalore Karnataka and Patiala Punjab). The reason for application cancellation was stated that I was missing a PCC for Bangalore where I lived for a period close to 2 years, I had only attached a PCC from Patiala Police Office because that's where I live right now, I thought PCC was for an entire country and not cities also to get PCC from bangalore one has to be physically living there Bangalore police website states that police personnel visit the stated address for verification. At this point in time what can I do to have my application re-considered? If CIC will not reconsider it because it was cancelled and I were to create another express entry profile what are the chances that this cancellation will reflect negatively on my new profile and application? I am aware that one get a PCC from India passport PSK (member's from India must be aware of this) would it be advisable to use that in the new application in case I get ITA or should I chase getting a PCC from bangalore police?

No point asking for reconsideration, you dropped the ball here so just create a new profile and start from scratch. This cancellation will not have an impact on your future application, obviously just avoid making the same mistake again.

CIC India PCC requirements give option to submit PSK PCC as well. You should have gone for that in first place as it covers the whole country without any time period. Just resubmit your profile with that. Suggest you to avoid submitting city based PCCs and confuse CIC. PSK PCC alone would be sufficient as it covers entire India.

Sorry to hear about your File Cancellation. To be truly honest, I do not believe the CIC will re-consider your App since the mistake was from your end (Missing a specific PCC). I have heard that in India you can get your PCC from a Office known as "PSK". It covers the whole of the country. Wishing you all the very best.

Sorry to hear about your application. PSK covers the entire country so it is best to wait for an ITA and file for a new PCC at your local PSK when you have the new ITA.

AOR came through on 29 November, application was cancelled on 11 December, apologies for the late reply mate.

Apply for pcc from PSK, it covers the entire country & easy to get. We received ours on the same day.
