application cancelled and then reopened. question for those in this situaction

Hello guys,

I sent my documents for my civil status on Nov 3rd, I followed your advice and did thru CSE and CPC CTD Ottawa. It worked very well cause on Nov 5th I was requested to pay my RPRF. So I did the same Ive sent my proof of payment thru CSE and CPC CTD Ottawa to be attached to my application. Does anyone know whats the next step after paying RPRF?

I got a new respons to a cse today

tracing back my steps lol, but thought I should share it with you.

This is a response I sent to my local VO in Vienna, back in the day when my application was just canceled and I could not get anyone to answer my questions, so I sent my inquieries all around the world lol

and now my CSE are beeing answered!

What is interesting is the information I picked up from their messages, because they have just forwarded my original e mail in the below order:
- I sent my CSE to Vienna VO
-Vienna Vo sent it to Ottawa processing centre
-Otawa forwarded it to Sidney processing centre with a note: this is your file, have a nice day 8)
-I got a reply from Sidney in regards to my orignial CSE question ( that happened after my application was already opened), after what I e-mailed them back to ask if it is usual for applications to stay marked as closed
-today I got a reply from Sidney, saying they no longer have my file


The point of this story is this: each and every CSE will be answered, if only to inform you they don't have any information. It took almost 3 months for my original CSE to get answered and that is not surprising considering it went to vienna, then ottawa and sidney.

Be patient, or try to be at least, as at some point you will definitely start getting your e -mails answered.

Also, on a different note, I decided I will not writte to ottawa at all., if they have my file, then they should have all the different cses and documents I submitted additionaly via cse.

Still waiting for them to request processing fees for my familly :/

When I see how fast they have processed my email I would recommend you to send an email to CPC CTD Ottawa...

I don't know how you are doing it Ben to receive a reply so quickly. I never got any reply from Ottawa and it took Sydney to reply to my recent e-mail two weeks. Oh, and they replied..."your Email has been forwarded to the appropriate person for action/review.". So a reply without a reply
I am running against a clock here. Only 9 days left to apply with the new ITA. I would prefer they opened my app.

I just got an e-mail, and I really do not know what to think about it.

Thank you for contacting Citizenship and Immigration Canada. I am pleased to follow up on your request:

Dear Client,

Due to a technical difficulty with our e-Client Application Status online service, access to your permanent residence application has been removed. Unfortunately we are unable to restore it.

We verified your application and we can provide you with a status update:

Your application was received on August 21, 2015
On September 28, 2015, a message was sent to you via your MyCIC account to advise you that your file has been re-opened.
Please note that the processing time for this type of application is approximately 6 months.

If you have any other questions, please contact the CIC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 for applications processed inside Canada or the responsible Canadian visa office for applications processed outside Canada.

Call Center says to write an e-mail. They say to call the Call Center. Access to my permanent residence application has been removed. WTF?

from what I understand us that they are working on your application. It is just your access they cant restore.
dont know what say... the thing is, if something is messed up who knows what other technical issues they will have with your application and perhaps delay it a lot :/

That is why I intend to reapply this weekend. I wrote a detailed LOE explaining the situation and saying it actually is a copy of my initial application. That really sucks as I lost 3months...

Same here!!! I received an email last night I guess its what we call PPR? But my status hasn't changed on profile still background in process... but the email I received ask me to send a copy of my passport and 2 pics...

I logged into MyCIC today to see that my app was reopened. I did not get any message whatsoever. My app status now reads Sudmitted, Medical passed, review in progress.

I now have two active apps as I submitted a second one after having waited for 3months to reopen the first one...
